Founder & Yoga Instructor
Yoga has always been an integral part of my life. However, it did not become a true passion until after I had both my children. As a little girl visiting with my grandfather in India, I was introduced to and taught breathing techniques and the asanas of yoga as though they were the alphabet – something that just went along with my upbringing. Did I always love it? No, definitely not! However, it was a way for me to connect with my grandfather and so I stuck with it.
Years later, after I had my children, yoga all of a sudden took on a new role. It allowed my body to heal from childbirth and allowed my mind to stop racing from all the things that I had to do. Coming off my mat I was refreshed, rejuvenated and full of the energy I needed to raise my family. I was hooked. I realized that I needed to share my passion.
I began teaching after attending a vigorous teacher-training program and my passion grew. I also realized there was a fitness component, that if added to a yoga regimen, creates a complete, balanced, and fit mind and body. From there emerged The Endorphin Effect.
